WILL FIND OUT WHAT IT IS ON THE WAY HOME, GOTTA FUEL OR I'LL BE PUSHIN. HOPE IT AIN'T UP NO MORE THAN IT ALREADY IS, BUT FROM WHAT I HEARD YESTERDAY, IT'S GOIN UP AGAIN TODAY.

On my way home, half the stations that was 3.60 on the way into work had gone up to 3.69 except one. So I filled there.

They blamin it on the delay in production of gas from oil in the refineries in the Texas and Louisiana ares before, during, and after the storm. The good news out of it is that the refineries were not damaged nearly as bad as first thought. Refineries should be up and running again within the next week or so, and within the next 2 weeks prices should start workin their way back down.

here in bama, they're pretty much capped around the 4 dollar mark. Gov declared state of emergemcy which blocks vendors from price gouging.

$3.68 ON MY WAY IN TO WORK THIS MORNING WAS THE CHEAPEST I FOUND. $3.86 I THINK IS WHAT IT IS BY THE HOUSE. THAT STORE AND THE OTHER CHEVERON RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD ARE ALWAYS THE HIGHEST IN OUR AREA.

Oil is $85 a barrell... almost down to half what is was at its peak, however, gas prices at the pump, remain as high, or higher, than when oil was $150/barrell............ Who's getting screwed here? We are.
